Hi, I'm Claire.
I believe the deepest healing happens when we simply slow down.
That belief gave this business its name. Slowly Nourished is my invitation to you: to slow down, soften, and let yourself be nourished — in body, mind, heart, and spirit. Everything I offer grows from that one idea, whether it's a yoga class, a coaching conversation, a retreat, or a quiet stay at The Nourish Nest.
At the end of 2016, after ten years running my own graphic design business, I sold it and hit a wall. Severe burnout sent me looking for a softer, slower way of life — and yoga found me. By 2017 I was teaching, and what began as my own healing became a calling to help others find their way back to themselves too.
For over a decade I've been creating spaces where you're invited to tune in and simply rest — no striving, no performing. For the past seven years, I've also taught online yoga for Carers. As a carer myself, I know how easily your own needs slip to the bottom of the list, and how vital it is to claim even a small pocket of time that's just for you.
My approach is gentle and nurturing, shaped by years of teaching and a certificate in holistic health. Alongside yoga, I offer one-on-one wellbeing coaching, seasonal retreats, and — coming soon — intuitive guidance sessions. Wherever you begin, you'll find a space that welcomes every body and every level of experience.
Away from the mat, I'm mother to two daughters and grandmother to five grandchildren, who I adore — and a big part of why I believe so wholeheartedly in slowing down for what truly matters.
An invitation for women over 50
If you're navigating menopause, you already know it's more than a physical change — it's a whole season of life asking you to slow down, listen, and care for yourself differently.
This is where I'd love to walk alongside you. Through one-on-one wellbeing coaching, we'll explore gentle, sustainable ways to support your changing body, restore your energy, and honour what you truly need — without pressure, and without another to-do list.
Because rest isn't a luxury or a reward. It's something we all deserve — and this season of your life is the perfect time to claim it.
If something here resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
